I can't wait to find out what Trevor's secret is! Why won't he spend the night with Oliver? Is he married to a woman, and has a family? A male partner - just like Patrick?
Ok, I read this last night and again this morning. Totally invested in what’s happening with these characters.
I am worried about Oliver though. I get that he’s guarded and that he wants more from Trevor, fair enough, but I worry that he’s being performative in ways that will damage him later. He’s already had quite enough damage as it is.
Thanks, Demi! Oliver IS being performative, but maybe not for the reasons yo'ure thinking, haha It's really hard for me to comment on Oliver without giving spoilers, so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on this one.
Unpopular opinion: Oliver is annoying 🙈😅 don‘t get me wrong, he seems like a nice person and all! That way he saved this guy: amazing.
But I just don‘t like people who bend over backwards just to liked by a guy. Don‘t get me wrong, this is not about people pleaser who want to be liked by everyone.
This is about Oliver changing his behavior, voice, entire persona cause he thinks that Trevor need to feel like a savior. Which maybe Trevor needs, but still if he loves Oliver he wouldn‘t mind, so Oliver projects his wishes an Trevor as well.
In the last chapters Oliver held back things he wanted to say not to push Trevor too far and I completely understood. But this behavior today… 🙊
Can‘t wait for the third party, maybe Oliver allows himself to be himself.

Poor Oliver, that's really disheartening. Even when he's trying to save someone, he's seems to be coming alive... but then the weight of the past just crushes down on him. He tries again and immediately gets brought down. And Oliver's description of Trevor's personality doesn't paint a pretty picture either for his mental health. To me it looks like Oliver's only real protectors are Marshmallow and Lily.
PS: I did get that nostalgic memories of medical TV series while reading this chapter 😁.
